Gadegaard Design cares a lot about your privacy. That is why I only process data that I need for (improving) my services and carefully handle the information I have collected about you and your use of my services. I never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Gadegaard Design. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 25/05/2018, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions is canceled. This privacy policy describes what information about you is collected by me, what this information is used for and with whom and under what conditions this information can possibly be shared with third parties. I will also explain to you how I store your data and how I protect your data against misuse and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you provide me.

This website is managed by Gadegaard Design, a company registered in Denmark. We recognize the importance of private information protection and follow our privacy policy requirements.

WIX.COM hosts our web shop. Your data is stored through WIX’s data storage, databases and the general WIX application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. When you purchase something from our web shop, you give us your consent to collect and use the personal information you give us, such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our web shop, we also use “cookies” and automatically receive your computer’s Internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us improve our services.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE WITH OUR SITE VISITORS

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account/order, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

 

E-MAIL & MAILING LISTS:

WIX shoutouts

I send my e-mail newsletters with WIX shoutouts. WIX shoutouts will never use your name and e-mail address for your own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail sent automatically via my website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will no longer receive my newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by WIX shoutouts. WIX shoutouts uses cookies and other internet technologies that make it clear whether e-mails are opened and read. WIX shoutouts reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of the services and to share information with third parties.

 

PAYPAL

I use it for handling the payments in our webshop
PayPal platform. PayPal processes your name, email address, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. PayPal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. PayPal reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymised) data with third parties. PayPal will, in the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), share personal information and information regarding your financial position with credit rating agencies.
All the above-mentioned safeguards with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of PayPal's services for which they engage third parties. PayPal does not retain your data for longer than permitted by the legal terms.

SHIPPING

When you place an order at Gadegaard Design, I use POSTNORD to send your packages to you. To do so, I share your name, address and email with them, to make sure you receive you package as swift and easy as possible. These data are necessary for me to share, to carry out the order and make sure you receive you accessories. Your data will only be shared for this purpose and POSTNORD is also GDPE compliant.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DEVICE AND HOW YOU USE OUR WEBSITE

Information you give us when you browse our site, including your IP address and device type and, if you choose to share it with us, your location data, as well as how you use our website.

We do not, and will not, sell any of your personal data to any third party – including your name, address, email address or credit card information. We want to earn and maintain your trust, and we believe this is absolutely essential in order do that.

To keep track of my administration and accounting, I use the services of e-conomic. I share your name, address and residence details and details regarding your order. This data is used for managing sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored protected. E-conomic is obliged to observe secrecy and will treat your information confidentially. E-conomic does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

We’ll hold on to your information for as long as is needed to be able to provide the services to you, for maximum of 5 years.

If reasonably necessary or required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms and conditions, we may also keep hold of some of your information as required, even after you have closed your account or it is no longer needed to provide the services to you.

 

EXTERNAL SALES CHANNELS

 

Etsy

 

I sell (a part of) my articles via the Etsy platform. If you place an order via this platform, Etsy will share your order and personal details with me. I use this information to process your order. I am confidential with your data and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
